Hey guys, I'm doing a hot indirect water system for my project but I haven't a clue what experiments to do for my portfolio. Any ideas on what I should do or where I can find sample experiments? And yes i've tried google. Thanks

Sorry I haven't seen this before now. You probably have them done at this stage, but anyway, the three experiments can be based on any topic on the course, they don't have to relate to your project, although if they are it's better.
A few examples of ones that can be done easily are,
    Rising damp – dpc
    Capillarity – throatings/anti-capillary grooves
    Slump test (concrete)
    Silt test (sand)
    Bulking of sand test
    Moisture content of aggregates test
    Insulation – heat loss
    Colour – heat loss
Expansion of matter (liquid/gases) with heat
    Bonding of brickwork
Working with card: cutting, bending, sticking, painting etc…

The ones in bold are the easiest ones out of them imo.
