Recommendation for a Decent Budget Digital/Stage Piano

    Hello! :)

After much consideration I have decided it might be time to get a new piano when the fund-age becomes available. I would be really grateful if anyone could help me with advice on buying a new piano because I'm really quite clueless on the subject.

I want to get back into playing properly after a gap of about 4 years from playing properly. I have a grade 7 and I am hopefully about doing my Grade 8 and Diploma at some point, just for completions sake. But its neither an urgent or pressing priority. I used to really enjoy playing and found it a great way to forget the stresses and pains in life.

My old digital piano stopped working properly around 4 years ago and I never got around to replacing it. Whilst I in an ideal world would love to get an acoustic piano, I don't have the space or money to get an decent one anyway.

I have three main problem areas at the moment that I need advice with:
    • I have never bought a piano before and have no idea what I should be looking out for either to avoid problems or what would be ideal. My last pianos were bought by my parents and neither of them play and they mostly chose the instruments based on price and what would suit their furniture. I know what I'd be looking for in an instrument: fully weighted keys, fairly portable due to space issues and with a sustain pedal. I very am worried about making the wrong decision and buying a dud though.
    • I have a very modest budget, about €500-€800 and even that will be a stretch.
    • Lastly, I am a bit worried about going to shops and trying them out I play to an intermediary level (RIAM Grade 7) but naturally I've very out of practise after literally 4 years of not playing at all and I'm am worried about making getting flustered a bit of a fool of myself when trying out an instrument.

Thank you in advance for anyone reading this and any replies! :)
