Hi all, my rent supplement has been suspended and it is under full review untill I provide the following documentation:

evidence of all icom in to the houshold,
    your suppouse's payslips X3
your current lease aggreement & proof of onership from landlord
your current position on the housing list
a copy of your foto ID

I am on JSA my partner is working part time (20hours) and we have to small kids.
The problem is that my landlord is increesing our rent above the limit, and that would mean that we will loose our rent supplement....

    cananyone help with my situation?!...

    what that means "suspended"?
since my partner works, can we applay for FIS and leave the rent supplement as is?
or my rent supplement case needs to be closed first?

our kids are in the local school, ....can't realy moove, won'T find anything cheeper...

    please help

You need to supply the dept with all the documents they asked for,or cancel you RA claim.

Thanks for your quick advice, ….cancelling RA does make sense. Is that a simple task?
Just walk in to the social office and explain my situation, then they will cancel my RA. (can I mention that I will apply for FIS?)

Write to the dept stating the you no longer qualify for RA,quote your claim number, pps number on the letter and get proof of postage.Apply for Fis straight away.

Just be aware that FIS takes a long time to come through. Can be up to 6 months

Wow!!! That's a huge change. My initial claim 2 years ago took 6 months. Then last April they worked my payment out wrongly. I sent a letter straight away and it took 7 months to rectify it in December gone!!!
