‘road bikes’ had you catch you attention
Yes yet another bike to work scheme novice looking for advice,
Ive 1400 max to spend on a bike and so many options,
Head is a bit melted so any advise will be much appreciated.
    1st time buyer also.

I was looking at the giant defy 1, alu frame, carbon forks with the 105s.
Had a test run seemed fine but as 1st time buyer don’t know what to be looking out for.

Was also looking at the Lapierre Audacio 400 which feels very light for a alu bike
and the Cannondale caad 8 with 105s but only checked this out online.

Then after reading a load of treads on the forum, i seen carbon bikes.
A whole new ball game, and head busted yet again.

But as a 1st time buyer i am leaning towards the alu frame with carbon forks and 105s

So can anyone please recommend what’d you go for
    Regards
    j

Online sales only. Some workplaces have no problem with online sales, particularly smaller companies, so double check with the scheme administrator to be sure.

I have a couple of large sensa Toscana carbon 105 bikes for 1300 if you're interested.
You can try one out if you want.
