I'm 20 years old and being kicked out.
I am not particularly sad about this as things are very hard at home and I've had no other choice to stay there but it's killing me

I was working up until October of Last year until I was recently diagnosed with Depression and I am now currently in a FAS course.

I really don't know what to do I have nowhere else to stay apart from a friends sofa for a few days.

The best thing you can do is find your CWO today and go to the next clinic and tell him/her that you have been asked to leave. They will advise you from there. Sleeping on friends sofas is no good if you are depressed.
Have you got a medical card? Keep attending your GP and get the medical help you need.
I hope things get better for you soon.

This is why the cut to young people's dole is so maddening, your parents can legally kick you out, meanwhile you probably can't afford to live independently on your dole/fas payment. If you were getting the full rate you might be able to rent a room, but you will need deposit money. Talk to your CWO and try to save up while you couch surf, and ask around at FAS if anyone is renting a room and try to work out if you can afford it. No easy answers here, if you don't have money, you will need help, and to get help you will need to ask for it through the official channels.

Are you receiving 100 per week while at fas? Is there a training allowance?
