Question is to join tinder or not?. Reason not to join that prevails in my head iw that I would be worried about people I know coming across me on it.

You have to at least buy them dinner first.

Of FFs. Can we just burn all these tinder threads. A new one every day.

    We. Don't. Care.

    Flick left.

To "come across you on it" then they'd have to be on it too.

They're just as worried about people coming across them as you are...

Can someone briefly explain in less than 100 words what Tinder is?

    Balls.

You need to be more open to new things or people will start to think you're a bit backward.

What's the best way to get a ride on tinder?

    1. Delete tinder
    2. Download grinder
    3. Say in your profile that you will bottom for absolutely anything
    4. Get the ride
    5. Cry

It's the laziest, most facile form of dating imaginable.

I don't know anyone on Tinder, I know shag all about Tinder. Therefore, I will stay well clear until I actually know something about it. I've come to the conclusion that all this online dating malarkey is a complete and utter waste of time, especially for a genuine person.

It's going down, I'm yelling Tinder, you better move, you better dance.

If someone you know comes across you on it wouldn't they have to be using it to? Kinda cancels out the embarrassment to me.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,420 ✭✭✭Trebor176

I've seen it on POF: A girl I know (maybe fancy) comes up on the "Meet Me" part. Do I or don't I click "YES?" That would be awkward, and I'm sure she'd think the same if my username came up on her page: "(insert name) wants to meet you." I don't know if I'd find it as awkward, if it was the other way around, but there would be awkwardness there of some sort. I'd be curious to try Tinder out, but as I said before, I don't know of anyone on it, nor have seen much mention at all of it.

Thats like saying you don't want to do speed dating because they are all strangers.

True. I guess I chanced other such sites not knowing a lot about them, but more than Tinder.

Know of a lad in Australia who has the mickey almost worn off himself with all the time he spends knocking one out to pictures on tinder. He's working in the middle of nowhere and is a hideous mutant anyway, so at least it's an outlet for him.

if your profile is legit (no exageration, factual, that sort of thing) youd be a fool not to try get in with her irl, but without introducing through pof.. you already know her, she likes (your profile) so its a no brainer!

I wish you'd told my bf this! He found my pof profile (before we were together) and because we knew each other, he blocked me. :pac: still managed to hook up eventually, but him clicking yes would have sped it up a bit!
