    Hi,
I'm looking to get another ego twist . Not sure what size my current battery is as I got it in a shop in Dublin(it was just in a plastic sleeve). Its the long battery though. It goes up to 5.0v but I see most just go to 4.8v. Any recommendations on previous experience with value/quality in mind? Links would be great. A newbie to this so sorry about the scatty details.

    Thanks in advance!

Pretty much every vendor sells egos, they are a great battery, I think they run from 400 to 1100 mah, the general rule is that they last an hour for every hundred mah, but honestly there is a lot to factor in so it's not the most reliable measurement, what voltage you are running at, what heads/cartos you are using and the amps, what kind or vaper you are long draws, short draws etc. etc.

Anyways here is a list of vendors and also some discount codes, http://www.vapingireland.com/Home/Vendors, loads there to choose from.

Also consider the ego spinner, I haven't used it myself but I've heard good reports and they very similar to the twists.

Thanks for the info. What's the difference between the ego twist and ego spinner?

As far as I know there isn't any real differences between the two, although I have heard it said that it is easer to set the voltage on a spinner, don't have one myself so can't say if it's true, there could be more differences but I'm not sure.

my understanding is that Joyetech call their ego vv a twist, as do Kanger. Vision call theirs a spinner.

But I have seen both an ego-c twist and an ego-c spinner.

    Twist: http://www.e-smokeireland.eu/product-p/egotwist.htm

    Spinner: http://www.e-smokeireland.eu/product-p/spinner.htm

I don't think the ones in the second link are authentic Vision spinners, they look like knock-offs.
Though it's hard to tell as the "larger picture" is the same size as the thumbnail and hard to see properly what you are buying.

As F.Fred says, Joyetech call their ego vv a twist, as do Kanger. Vision call theirs a spinner.

That's why I'm guessing these are fakes and misnamed.

In light of recent events I would prefer if people would refrain from speculation about vendors and their products. If you have bought something and have an opinion then fair enough but otherwise it's unfair to attack products based on suspicions. Lets remember that no matter what anyone might think e-smokeireland has a good reputation on boards in terms of their products and service. Lets give them the benefit of the doubt and if anyone has bought this product and can speak to it's legitimacy or not then fire away.

The restrictions on vendors re. boards mean they can't answer questions but it works both ways imo and also means none of us should attack a vendor or it's products with no justification. Less headaches for me too if we can do this.

I got 2 of these in 1000ma back in DEC, I use them for work and their great, vv works a treat as I bring a few pre filled clearos with me and need different voltages.

I prefer spinners with regards to the voltage dial - it's knurled and much easier to see the voltage on it.

However, there is a much shorter cut off time on it. The Twists seem to have a 10 sec cut off but my spinners only last about 6-7 secs at most before shutting off.

    Understood, was just my opinion.
