He's 34 and has twice finished runner-up in the US PGA chmapionship. He also came second to Harrington in the 2007 Open, and has a second-place finish in the US Open on his record.

But will Sergio Garcia ever win a Major?

I hope he will eventually. Probably a US Open or Open.

Yes he will. He's only 34, He's got at least 10 good years in him. He's far too good not to pick up at least one. And if he gets one in the next 5 years, he'll get another 2 or 3 shortly after that

ya, if he can keep his complaining to a minimum he'll win 1 or 2. id say the masters and the open..

Voted no-I don't think he has the balls to finish it out unless he has an insurmountable lead.
Saying that though I would like to see him win one.

His putting has improved dramatically. They showed a stat a few weeks ago. He's gone from somewhere like 170th to 8th in strokes gained in putting (2013)

I'll be backing him at the start of each of them this yr. His ball striking is second to none.

He doesn't appear to have the requisite mental strength

+1 on this, His game and talent are unquestionable, however I feel his attitude needs a bit of work.

I hope he doesn't tbh due to his carry on on the course. Beating up bunkers, throwing clubs into a lake or kicking your shoe into the crowd (think that was Sergio but could be mistaken) is the behaviour of a ****, not the behaviour of a man who deserves to be remembered for winning a major/majors.

Bad behaviour ? That's just Spanish Passion! You can't beat a bit of passion! :D

I very much doubt it.He has all the talent required but the temperament is not there. Sawgrass last year summed him up for me. Tiger middle of the green on 17. Sergio pin hunting. Dropped 6 shots in the last two holes

I reckon he'll win at least one, probably the Open.

+1 and don't forget the big glugger he made for his colleagues after missing a short putt and left it in the cup for their enjoyment.
    Lovely passionate fella alright.

No I don't think so, he couldn't when he was a better player so doubt he can now...

    Definitely not.
In fact I expect him to have disappeared from the game within 5 yrs.

Almost definitely not. Had the talent once, but that only shows in fits and starts now. And has rarely shown the mental toughness required. Monty never won one, and he had the talent and the attitude but it never happened for him.

I fully expect him to finish top 10 this week. He will be there or thereabouts, having a good season so far.

I think he will win the Open Championship.

But as it's been said it will be by having a comfortable cushion.
When he lipped out at Carnoustie in 2007, that's the stuff of nightmares.

After seeing the 2 footer he missed on the 15th, i am now convinced he will never win a major

A bit mad - he was putting so well last week.

Has not got going here at all, and yet he is still in striking distance.

I think he will go well here.

It is all in his head,

Lets be honest - as majors go , there is nothing intimidating about taking this and the field.

The Putter lets him down every major championship.

He can Putt excellent here and there on tour, but once Major time comes its Yips galore.
