A hairdresser recommended that I get a clear gloss put in my hair to put manners on it - it's thick, wavy and fairly rebellious. Wondering if anyone else has had this done and how you've got on with it; how long it lasted etc?

I recently got it done, but I was just told it was a shine booster. Nothing was mentioned about taming my hair.
It's lovely and shiny and feels softer after styling though.
