failed heat exchanger replacement?

    we have a heat exchanger system in the house, two units in the loft and they've both failed (before we moved in).

    caccording to the manual, it needs vaccuming out once a year to keep it from getting clogged up, so I'm guessing that as it's rented, that nobody ever did it (the house is about 6 years old).

    how much would it cost to replace with new units re-using as much of the existing equipment as possible?
