If you mean on the number plates, the are not needed on an 87 I'm pleased to say. I think it was 89 or 90 before the current plates came in

If you mean a sticky on one, yep should have one I guess but I never bother going to the UK

Didn't even think about it to be honest! Where would you even get one now that it's on the number plates on most vehicles!

Halfords don't even sell fan belts anymore so I wouldn't bank on finding them there! I won't even be looking there from here on in...unless I get really desperate or happen to be right out side when a need arises.

Well I happened to be right outside or something :o If you look at the full size pic, it has their name on it :o

There might be another company you don't like that might have them: Tesco. :D

If you do get one, get one the right size as there are a lot of small ones with too much extra crap on them.

Minimum height of letters: 80 mm
    Stroke width 10 mm
Black letters on white background of elliptical form with the major axis horizontal.

    1) Size of ellipse for a three letter country code: At least 240mm wide x 145mm height.

    2) Size of ellipse for a two or one letter country code: At least 175mm wide x 115mm height.

    3) Size of ellipse for a motorcycle (3, 2, or 1 letter country code): As per (2).

I do like Tesco as it happens.

Also as it happens, the old fanbelt on the truck was a Halford's one, with their name on , but was no guarantee they actually sell them!

    Fanbelt

Your really showing your age here.:p It's been an auxiliary drive belt or alternator belt for some years now since everyone has gone electric for fans.

They did sell them, it's just possible they have giving up stocking their own branded ones on the shelf. I can't say I've looked recently. It's quite possible they have gone the way of many things which Halfords used to stock (dizzy caps, points, etc.). But ovals are more likely about, as it'll be amongst the roofboxes and towing bits.

showing my age? not at all...it's the VAN that's old not me! (and yes the belt drives the fan)
