C23 = Flying Shed ...... that's what the LHR spotters used to call them

Common visitors into Northolt back in the day , basically used as flying post offices I believe .

Is it me or does the C32 ( B 757 ) look just fantastic in that colour scheme ?

As for the EI Shorts , didn't they lose one near Birmingham ?

I remember British Midland flying them , and a pilot getting told off rather publicly when he took off from 27L ( or 28L as it was then ) at LHR and basically turned early over the central area and over the active runway next door ( 28R ). I think he was rather eager to get home to Castle Donnington :-)

I think an ex-EI Shorts 360 went to Aer Arann for a time and was a written off on landing in crappy weather in Birmingham alright.

They obviously could not associate a Shorts customer with them retaining their jobs .
