If all they're doing is operating under contract for Aer Lingus, their name doesn't matter to many people.

Presumably this won't affect the Aran Islands hopper service?

In all seriousness, although 'Aer Arann' planes haven't flown for a few years it'll be sad to see the name disappear altogether.

    Rest in Peace

Could they be keeping the Arann call sign on ATC?

    This too shall pass.

"Aer Arann Islands" is a seperate company.

I wonder about the callsign......I doubt they have any reason to hold onto "Arann" so I am assuming it may change to "Stobart"?

When I hear "Stobart" all I can think of are those Eddie Stobart trucks...

That is kinda the idea as it is all part of the Stobart Group...i.e. the same company.

Well Stobart are the trucking equivalent of Ryanair, lots of them and they pay poorly...

That I didn't know - I wonder if all the planes will be named/renamed girls names like the trucks?

Stobart air have been around for a while, apparently the long term plan is to try and do for more European airlines what they're currently doing for Aer Lingus. Hopefully this could lead to expansion.

Probably not if branded for other airlines, but you never know.

They could be named like the Southend Airport Vehicles.

    Can anyone guess what 'Loo-Loo', 'Aqua', 'Cand-ice', 'Gas-o-Lina' and 'Phil-Uppa' do?:D

FYI, if you move to a 'smart' meter electricity plan, you CAN'T move back to a non-smart plan.

You don't have to take a 'smart' meter if you don't want one, opt-out is available.

Buy drinks in 3L or bigger plastic bottles or glass bottles or cartons to avoid the DRS fee.
