Great to see the two big games get the Saturday evening slots. Georgia has the potential to be a decent game to see how the second tier of players are getting on, just hope the IRFU price the tickets for it right though.

I love how the IRFU Facebook page is suggesting that people should order or pre-order their tickets through the clubs when neither prices, seating categories nor allocations have even been discussed.
Certainly the Leinster clubs don't have to revert to the Branch with their ticket requests until April 2nd.

Does anyone know when tickets will be available through the supporters club?

Very reasonable prices for Georgia, can't ask for better really.

If you buy the three ticket package you're basically getting the Georgia match for free. It would be good if they offered the three match package for the cheaper seats but I suppose they can't be too generous!

I think that is a great initiative, people who planned on giving Georgia a miss and going to the other two are now likely to buy a package instead

ah here at those prices and at the timing of the Georgia game it would be silly not to bring mini me to his first Ireland game

Wow I'm amazed at how cheap those tickets are compared to what the were a few years ago!!

Two good KO times too for the big two games.

Just remember RTE/Sky sports have rights to these so those in the North need to make sure they have an RTE aerial to pick these matches up as they will almost certainly be geo-blocked on Sky in the north and on the NI Mini-mux i.e. RTE via Freeview.

With Rte dropping the Rabo and Sky covering games I'd expect both to be involved full time with sky next season.

Have you a link to RTE dropping the Rabo? I know Sky are coming on board but didn't think RTE were pulling out. Also what about TG4 and the Rabo?

Having withdrawn from the bidding for rights to the Pro12 on foot of Sky securing 30 matches per season, thereby leaving the field clear for TG4 to go on televising that competition along with BBC Northern Ireland, the national broadcaster have evidently prioritised the World Cup in England, along with the November Internationals and the Six Nations.

How many tickets per match can supporters buy?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 342 ✭✭Dunder Mifflin

As far as I remember last year it was limited to 4 tickets per user.

My membership is up as of June 1st. The IRFU FAQ's says that you have a month to renew. Does this mean I'll be able to get access to the supporters club pre-sale without having to renew?

Just wondering how long it takes for the good seats to sell out? I was hoping to pick up three of the category 1-4 tickets for the south africa at the end of June, but that's assuming there's any left.

On ticketmaster the AB's game took a while to sell out. Can only speak to that game though.

Yet again it looks like the general sale tickets are better than the supporters club

Not sure about that. I'm looking at plenty of good seats in supporters club sale. Seems to have entire front section of west upper stand between the 22's. These are great tickets either side of the press box.

Picked up two of the 3 match packs in Row A beside the press box. Absolutely no complaints from me.

I got some pretty good seats as well. Block 506, Row A.

Just went back in to look there and got the option of much better seats than earlier :D

I'm trying to get the 3 game package but am not getting the option to buy it. Anyone else having that issue?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,077 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

I logged on at 10 this morning and had no trouble getting row A in block 524. Four of us on the triple pack. Very good value. Last year I struggled to get in to block 529 and general sale tickets were way better.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24,767 ✭✭✭✭molloyjh

I'm assuming you just logged into ticketmaster, selected the 3 game option and bought them that way? I keep getting a message saying they are not available online. Poxy bloody ticketmaster.

You need to use the email sent to all members of the supporters club - there is a link to click and a password.

Would anyone have a spare 'promotional code' that hasn't used its full allocation that I could borrow?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 741 ✭✭✭damianmcr

Just had a look at tickets online. In the upper tiers it seems the front half of each tier is sold!

Seems the lower rows are reserved for ticket packages and the upper rows are for the single games.

I just got the three-game pack for row C of the West upper, happy enough.
