    hi all,

i'm looking for a guitar emulator but so far my searches are not throwing up anything that matches my requriements so i'm looking for some advice from someone you might have already come across a good piece of software that would allow me to,

    1. pluck strings / notes so i could play lead guitar riffs
    2. add a chord or string of chords by either typing the chord name or selecting the individual notes so i could play rhythm guitar
    3. alter strumming technique so i could play power chords, strumm up instead of down, strumm and pluck etc.
    4. control the sequencing of the chords / notes played

    and if possible,
    5. build up layers of guitars e.g. play a guitar solo over rhythm guitar
    6. play bass guitar
    7. adjust the treble / bass etc. of the guitar
    8. change key

A good sample library should have these: RA has a few very convincing guitar samples, so does the library that ships with Kontakt. The Hans Zimmer guitar library has many guitar samples though some of them are a bit 'rawk'
