    Hi

I'm currently on maternity leave n due back to work mon 19th May for 6 weeks till summer holidays. Would it be best to take parental/unpaid leave for the 6 weeks?? And will I be paid as normal for the summer?
    Any advise?

    Thanks

Take your unpaid leave because this can not be carried over. Calculate how many weeks you need to take you up to the hols and apply to your BOM for that amount. Just be sure the correct dates are sent to the DEP. It is useful to hold on to your parental leave as this can be used in small blocks or all together for years to come. You will be paid for summer as normal.
