Well they're as accurate as they can be, in that the price it quotes you are what you'll lay if you go with that company.

The only way to find out the best broker for you is to ring them all... No simpler method unfortunately. Make sure your try Britton Insurance, given your age. But they may not be the best quote you'll get overall, good place to start though.

Yes they are. But it doesn't mean you can't get a better deal elsewhere or over the phone, or a broker, or...

I find that online insurance quotes are useless unless if your young. The only ones that seem to give realistic online quotes are fbd and Britton insurance. Your better off to try a broker or ring around. Try creane and creane they very good for young drivers

I'm not so sure about that. I was with Britton Insurance for 10 years but in the last few years it was as if they weren't even trying: 2 minutes on any insurance company website and I could find a better quote than Britton gave me. I no longer felt I could count on them, so I just started doing my own research and getting cheaper quotes.

Never mind the often surly staff there...

Yes I know what your saying but I meant for people starting out. You have been with them for 10 years. I heard before anyway that there not very good once you have a few years NCB.

Have to agree with you there. I'm with them more than 10 years. Just got a quote, made 1 call to a local company and they were cheaper with a much less excess. Brittons phoned and I basically said not to call back to unless they were a fair bit cheaper as I'm fed up of them matching the new quote.
This is the 3rd year in a row that the first and only call I made produced a cheaper quote.
Not even the Donegal accent will win me over this time.
