A mate of mine has a processor thats acting up, its an i5-2500k 1155

Hes looking to get a new one to replace it but is wondering will the i5-3570k 1155 be ok to use instead.

Anything specifically he needs to check to make sure its compatible?

    Cheers

Fair enough if it is a problem repeating when used with a different motherboard/psu /ram etc.
