Classic Mini insurance

    Would love to buy a classic mini.

    On average, how much does insurance and tax work out?

    Im a 27 year old female.


    I've rung around the usual insurance companies but they won't take cars from before 1994.

    Are there special classic car insurers?

    Try First Ireland, AXA or Carole Nash.

    Tax for a 30 year old + car is €56, and limited mileage insurance in the region of €250 (as a second car, if it's your daily it will be more)

    I'm on the hunt for insurance for a 83 gti golf (primary car)
    Have been trying to get through to Carol Nash all day without success.
    AXA gave me a reasonable quote of 450 euros.
    FBD would only quoted me 520 for third party.
    Tried lots of other companies but they wouldn't insure me because of the cars age or offered really high quotes.
