What are they like anyone have experience with them. How they cope with a heavy meadows. Have they a good swart board system to keep the swaths seperate. Are they expensive. What is the best disc mower.

Friend bought an 8ft malone last season and swears by it. He's not a contractor but has 600 acres mind, not all meadow of course. Seen it and looks a decent mower. But, as above kuhn are legendary in mowers if you're on hire.

Lads around here reckon the shaft driven Krone is the best disc mower but they are wild expensive. Best quote I got a few weeks ago for an 8 foot malone was 4500 plus VAT.
