Looking to sort out the swirl marks on my car. I thought I did well enough with meguirs ultimate compound but its very noticeable when the sun Shines! Can anyone recommend a good brand for an Audi a6. I have a dual action polisher so something that works well with that

Menzerna is a good compound. German paint is quite tough, so you won't do any damage with a DA.

Get all three.. Start heavy, and work backwards... You'll get a much better finish.

FG400 or FG500 are the best choices for cutting. I use Chemical Guys V38 for finishing.

I got great results on VAG paint with Menzerna FG500 using an orange Hex Logic pad - the FG400 is a sort of upgrade of the FG500 and is aimed at single stage correction.

Hard German paint I'd be straight for Scholl Concepts S3 Gold with thier blue pad. Not readily available in Ireland though.

Any of the above mentioned will do a very good job too!

Great stuff. I'll order next week. Annoying that I have 2 layers of collinite 476 on the car already. Kinda don't want to undo all that work for a while

Do it panel by panel and replace the 476 as you go.
