Facebook Issue

So I uploaded a personal image to Facebook last summer and just over a week ago, a girl I know uploaded the image into her own folder and claimed it as her own.
I told her that I knew it was mine and a friend of mine pitched in, saying she knew it was my picture too, and also that the girl had stolen one of her personal pictures. I even messaged the girl privately begging her to take it down because I really didn't want to make a big deal about it, but she point blank refused to take it down, insisting that it was in fact her picture.

So I'm really ****ing ticked off about this and I want to report it to get it taken down. I really don't give a **** about what else happens, I just want my picture off her account. But before I report the picture, I just want to make sure that I actually have a right to report it, as I don't want my account blocked or anything.

So do I have a right? And under what grounds should I report it if I do (Like, is it intellectual property or anything?)?

    Thanks!

Who took the picture, and therefore owns it?
If you then you can claim copyright and report it to FB.

If you took the photo then you automatically have the copyright. If you put it on FB you still own the copyright but have given FB a licence to distribute on platform i.e. sharing it as people do.

You can raise the issue with FB but I don't think that you are going to get much of a response from them. You can do the report image thing.
