My 15 yo son is sitting the JC in June, I am worried he is not studying enough. His mother doesnt want to nag him any more. My question is there any where he can go for supervised study? We live in South County Dublin.

You could ask his school would they be prepared to organise it if parents paid. Many schools do.

Yeah problem is that he does music after school one of the days, he has soccer another day which really only leaves 2 afternoons. I suppose I was looking for somewhere after dinner, he gets easily distracted ( more important things than the JC on his mind no doubt ), and frankly does F all study after dinner. It's a shame because he's quite bright and got great reports all through national school and in 1st & 2 nd year but seems to have decided not to bother for the JC.

If he's listening properly in class and doing his homework to as high a standard as he can, he's 80% of the way there for JC.

Maybe you're right. He seems to be doing very little study outside of the above.

I'm planking it TBH, he is as cool as a breeze.

I don't know, my breathing has become shallower even thinking about it:)

Maybe all young fellas are like that, it's too long ago for me to remember back to when I did it, about 35 years ago :eek::eek:
