Hi, I was wondering if anyone has purchased an Xbox One off Amazon.com Or Amazon US (NOT .co.uk) , as I am thinking of buying one from there as of the cheaper price and the console is region unlocked.

If you did buy one from Amazon.com how did you overcome the different voltage problem?

    Thanks in advance :)

The power brick would have to be changed to a 220v one they aren't dual voltage that would cost a good few euro i'd say.
If you order from the US you'll have to pay vat and duty and most couriers charge a fee for collecting these charges also.
It would probably be cheaper to buy one from europe.

    On amazon.co.uk its 452Euro
    On amazon.com its 359Euro

Does it really cost 100euro for the charges?

Vat alone is 23% so that brings the us price to €441 then you have to pay for shipping and a power brick.

Mentioned before if paying with a euro credit card on .com or .uk there will be a crossborder handling fee also if the trasnaction is in GBP or US Dollars, comes to another few euros on to of any vat etc.

Additionally, if the console is faulty, which it may well be, it will be deemed 'out of region' by Microsoft and you will have to pay a big fat fee to get it fixed even if it's in warranty.

And the standard warranty in America is 3 months (not sure if Microsoft go above that though)
