Hookah question

    Hey can i ask a quick question here for hookah people?

    I just purchased this hookah of an old friend but I feel I might of just got ripped. There is no seal what so ever on the hookah with the water part. Also the pipe that extends into the water is capped off.

    Any one help. I am gonna ring him now.
