I'm hearing good things about the Collinite Marquee Elegance wax.
    Anyone tried it here?

There are so many variables when choosing a LSP.

    Explain please.

    Colour of the paint
    Price of the LSP
    Durability vs Appearance
    Ease of application and removal
How it works with other products you plan to use with it or after it's been applied.

You might choose to sacrifice durability for appearance during the summer but want durability during the winter....so there's two choices of LSP straight off.
If you had two cars and different colours do you choose one for both or get two different LSPs. One is a weekend car and is garaged all the time, so doesnt need to have a very durable LSP.

I could on...everyones situation is different, and they might have 3 or 4 LSPs of choice.

I was reading this the other day.

    http://www.stevemcconnell.com/recreation/waxrecommendations.htm

But some or all of those products may not be available in Ireland, and that page might be old.

But I like how he rates the products for durability, shine, ease of application and removal ect.

I have a gloss black golf, I've always used AG SRP and EGP and i'm always impressed with how crisp and glossy it looks, happy enough with it's durability aswell; last week however, I saw another black golf like mine but it looked absolutley wet and deeply glossy - what would the recommended LSP products be for producing those types of results?

Collinite 845 as mentioned would look very well.

But if you wanted the extra wet look then Chemical Guys Blacklight and Chemical Guys Pete's53 would look great.

Ive not tried it on dark green but if its metallic paint another that id be tempted to try is Bilt Hamber Finis Wax...it really makes metallic paint pop.

But as ever....everything to get a car looking great is in the preparation.
