does winning the gold cup mean that jim will get lots of new owners with bags of cash and some top horses I think the only owner he with is that dr rohan lambe fella and he looks to be pushing on will he see jim kick on for this and bring champion trainer tital back to his mega set up in mallow ??????

Hope he does well. Few guys I know in a syndicate had a horse with him. He told them after a few months the horse was useless. They decided to ignore and moved the horse. 12 months later the second trainer told them the horse was useless. Hence if they listened to Jim it would it would have saved them a lot of cash. I like his honesty as he could have kept the horse and turned a few bob but decided to do the right thing.

Seems a grand guy, hope he gets a few horses from his success.

Whether he's a nice guy or not (seems an absolute gentlemen to me) its clear he is a hell of a trainer - 25 horses in the yard, only 3 or 4 actually ready for the track and he eeks 2 Cheltenham winners including a Cold Cup out of those 4 horses.

His place is state of the art I have heard also. He made good money in his riding days so perhaps he's happy to stay relatively low key.

He has absolutely no chance of winning a gold cup with Lord Windemere. Rag, Nag, Tag, Slag.

Am I right in thinking he has a 100 percent strike rate at the festival.

    3 from 3.

    Any other trainer have this?

Don't think so - recall him saying last year that he would only ever bring a horse to festival that had a chance , hence why I backed lord w last year and somehow ignored him this year !!! He had a few losers in 11 and 12 I think but some man
