Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone can help. If you have an original xbox. 10gb or 20gb model (mines the 20gb) is it possible to just ghost the original drive and replace it with a new larger one or is there more involved? Its hardmodded already and has xbmc and all the bells and whistles already to act as a multimedia machine but wouldnt mind a bit of extra hard drive space.

    Al.

There is a guide here if u have a pc with ide drives http://www.maxconsole.com/maxcon_forums/threads/13629-How-to-Softmod-you-XBOX-Full-Tutorial. If you get the xbox softmodded the first thing to do is to backup the eeprom, very important. You can then make an install disc ready for your new hdd build with the eeprom.

I will have a look shortly. Its hard modded/chipped... already. Does it still have to be softmodded?

Sorry did not read op correctly. No need to softmod(no chip needed, software based) as either thats done already or there it has actual chip like xecuter. If there is a switch on outside it should be modded with a chip.
