immergas victrix zeus- ignition block

I live in an apartment block. There was a suspected gas leak in an above apartment last Sunday, so Bord Gais networks cut the gas for the building. They have since restored gas flow. However, the boiler is showing an error, basically leaving us without hot water/heat. We had an Airtricity employee have a look, but he couldn't figure it out. The boiler is an immergas victrix zeus and showing error 1 (which having looked it up, states that it is an ignition block). It would appear that www.rvr.ie are no longer in operation also. If anyone could shed some light on this situation on how to reset or fix this problem it would be greatly appreciated,
    Thanks,
    Roy.

If it happened after gas was restored then it could be as simple as the reg valve tripped on your meter . Rvr are still going , actually just seen one of their vans today .

+1 to meter under pressurisation valve.

As mentioned you may have a safety device that tripped when the gas was turned off.

When these safety devices trip the installation needs to be tested to confirm there are no leaks before they can be reset.

You will need to get your RGI to confirm there is gas to the boiler and if not then to test your gas pipework and appliances.

As you have a Immergas boiler you are best to get RVR to call if you don't have a tame gas fitter to hand.

Thanks for the response lads. Would I need to call Rvr, or could I possibly fix the problem on my own,
    Roy.

I would never turn on gas to a property without confirming its safe, it's a bit naughty that BG cut your gas off and didn't confirm you had gas back at your appliances.

Any RGI can check for gas at your appliance and test before turning it on again if it is found to be off.

If it's not a gas fault but a boiler then you are better off getting RVR(the suppliers of the boiler) as immergas as a boiler are pain in the backside.
