Hey guys i'm designing a website, when i've used the html its working no problem everything is slotted perfectly into place with relative positioning or floats.

However when i'm using the index page on wordpress the header wont slot into place at the top theres a gap between the top of the screen and the header of about 60px!

    Anyone had this problem before?

At the moment my fix is to use absolute positioning and just stack all the sections but i dbout this is the proper way to do it.

Are you logged in to wp-admin? It may be the admin bar trying to instantiate but not working for whatever reason. Try disabling it in Users -> Your Profile

Thanking you!! Running it off a local host so probably why the bar wasn't showing up, thanks for that.
