How's does UPC on demand compare to Sky Go/Sky on demand?

Does UPC have many varieties of shows on its on demand?

Sky Go is quite well stocked when it comes to shows. Documentaries and comedy shows etc...

    I've no experience with UPC...

    Only ever use the players.

If I was going by the ads, Sky looks better.

You'd need to find someone with both, or who has experience of both, to compare really. Such a person might be few and far between...

For me my experience of UPC On-Demand is that it initially showed great promise but has scaled back considerably. Almost all the UK content that was on it seems to have disappeared now. Here's the box sets on it at present:

    CSI: Crime Scene Investigation S1-2
    CSI Miami S1-2
    Dalzeil and Pascoe S01
    Dexter S04
    Emma
    Johnathan Creek S1-2
    Mistresses S1-3
    NCIS S3
    Numbers S1
    Star Trek TNG S02
    The Twilight Zone (1959) S01
    Wallender S1-3
    Extras S1-2
    Fraiser S1
The Office (GB) S1-2 + Christmas Special.

As far as catch-up TV, UPC has RTÉ and TG4 players which Sky doesn't, but Sky has 4OD which UPC doesn't.

Sky's box set collection is here.

Although the Sky ad would lead you to believe that they have everything, they don't but compared to UPC it's miles ahead. UPC tend to have a series at a time, whereas Sky put all the series up at the same time. The actual shows puts Sky miles ahead.

I have everything through UPC but their broadband is as far ahead of Sky's as Sky is ahead of UPC for tv.

If Sky ever got to 100mb broadband and a reasonable price for multi room UPC would be decimated.
