    was up the silage fields this morning and there was around 10 deer there, mostly females, had a lad on to me a few months ago that he is licensed to shoot deer, is it deer hunting season now?

    nope season over till september 1st 2014 at very earliest unless you or designated deer hunter can get a section 42 to cull deer

    It's the farmer who needs to apply for the Section 42, this does not only apply for deer but for the out of season hunting of all protected species that have an open season. The farmer nominates the stalker/hunter and the out of season exemption is not transferable.

    Hi just saw ur message as a licenced deer stalker I'd be interested in the shooting of some deer if u are wanting to cull them send me a message thanks John.
