There are hundreds of schools in Dublin. What age is she? Do you want an all girls school? An Irish speaking school ? A Catholic school? A multi-denominational school?

I would ring every school in the area that you are interested in and get applications in to all of them that might have a place.

What you are asking is really impossible to answer. There is not 1 "best school". There would be hundreds of great schools, and people can really only comment on the schools they have experience of.

So I could tell you MY daughter's school was the best school, but someone else could say their's is... Each individual family will have their own experience with school, and will have their own preference for the kind of school they want their child to attend.

Will your daughter be starting school in September? Into what class? You might find your selection very small as most school don't have "spare" places. So it might be a case of sending your child to a school that has a place for her rather than what you think is "the best" school.

Have a look at the link above. Pick out a few areas that will suit the location where your husband will be working, and then make your enquiries into any/all schools in the area.

Then go with the one YOU are happiest with.

Your parental input, support and the atmosphere and attitude to education in the home will be far more influential than what building she goes to.
