What position have you applied for and what Aptitudes are they testing for?

Is the test done over the phone?

The reason I ask is that I did one over the phone a few years ago.

It's a sit down test for a production line position.

Ah right I never did that.

I went for an engineering role and so my aptitude test would have been different. I did a phone interview which consisted of the Gallup test, then travelled down and did a half hour test and discussed my answers with a panel and then did a traditional interview (by traditional I mean they were questions like tell me about yourself, what did you do at XYZ company and so on) with the same panel.

I don't know how you could prepare for the aptitude test to be honest but if you're worried about your maths it'd be no harm to go over your basics to help you feel more confident.
