Might give this thread a bump (!) by adding my interest to Gonky's.... If there's a second one out there, I'm also looking for one! Hopefully it never rains but it pours.!

The HRM on its own is 29 euro incl postage. According to Thisisant site it works with garmin. I will wait another few days and see what happens. Thanks for info.
