    Hi guys,

I'm booked into Elysian brows tomorrow, it will be my first time. Anyone any feedback on what they're like?

I feel like a broken record as I keep mentioning them on boards. But they are very good; definitely the best in Dublin.

You were right- they're brilliant! So friendly too. Great service

I hated my experience there :( I really wanted to like it and thought I would, heard great things from so many people.

I get my brows done there and the girl does a great job on my eyebrows. However, I find it can be a bit fake and I hate when sometimes they talk over you while doing your brows to another girl at reception. It's only happened since they moved premises. I put up with it because it's the only place I have found that hasn't destroyed my brows.

I really like them. I've been goin to Karen for about 6 months and I'm delighted with how my brows are shaping up - they were *atrocious* before. I've never experienced anyone talking over me though. I find them lovely to deal with.

I thought they were okay. The stylist who did my eyebrows was nice and she gave them a good shape but she put eyebrow pencil (or whatever it's called) on straight away, before she even showed me them in the mirror. I know they were a nice shape over because they lasted for a while but that annoyed me. And the skin around my eyebrows swells pretty quickly so she put it on irritated skin. I'm fairly sure you shouldn't do that.
I don't mean to sound incredibly negative. I would probably go back if they were cheaper and just tell her to leave off the pencil. I just checked and I think they have gone down in price. I remember them being more expensive.

It's 22 euro for a brow tidy now because of the rent on South William Street. It was 20 euro previously.

I never experienced any beauticians talking over me there. And I never felt uncomfortable there, although I am a bit socially awkward. I don't like to chat in hair dressers, brow places etc. But I don't like complete silence either as it makes things even more awkward. And Hema, who was my beautician, always had the perfect balance with the amount of chat. And she always asked if I wanted brow powder or not.

I had my brows done by Hema almost exclusively for 3 years. And they were the best they ever were. I always got compliments on them. I moved away from Dublin last year and seriously contemplated day trips to Dublin just for eye brow shaping   I moved right around the time of their move to South William St. I've only been to the new place once. So, I don't know if or how things have changed.
