What do people think of this?

Practically a brand new motor for €24k - big, plenty of safety kit, big boot :D, cruise, Bluetooth, alloys (you'd expect that anyway).

I know there's a new model coming, but that looks like a lot of car for the money. Is that the reason for the price, or is there some other catch? Is it underpowered for example?

The people who haven't driven one will tell you it's woefully underpowered, but I have driven one (albeit briefly) and it's OK.

Retail on a brand new one is €23,950, but that's not including Metallic, Heated Screen, or Bluetooth which the one linked has. Front & Rear Parking Sensors would have been nice - it's a long car.

It is a hell of a lot of car for the money. Only thing that's wrong with it is the Black door handles - if you could find one in Black, it's a lot less noticable.

New model is due to land here around October, for January delivery. Used values will probably tank when the new model arrives, but it's so cheap anyway, you won't end up losing that muich in depreciation.

Spec a Focus up to equivalent levels, and you are looking around the same money.

The spec looks grim. That centre console with the manual air knobs and basic looking radio is like something from a 7-8 year old Mondeo.

No DRL's and No foglights - terrible excuse for spec!

It's less than €24,000, for a car that size, with A/C, Cruise, Bluetooth, Alloys.

If it was €30,000 I'd agree, but not for that price.

That's pretty high mileage for a 3 month old car

If the only objectives are to get a brand new large family car at a cheap price and a full warranty then yes it probably does represent value but personally I could not live with the basic spec or adequate performance. I'd rather drop back a year or two for something with higher spec and more powerful engine.

158km is high for a 3 month old car? Not much more than I'd do in a day.

Price is ok but I think it looks rather drab, dull as ditchwater grey all over the place.
Windey windows is also something I'd never choose either. The missus' car has them and the kids are for ever rolling them down slightly (unnoticed by the wife) and leaving them a crack open allowing rain and moisture to get into the car. At least with leccy windows you can prevent the kids from fiddling with them.

Ahhhh very good, am just too used to see a "k" after the no's, my bad.

Paddy spec, dullmobile. Come on - only front electric windows????

It's an old model going out - they're always "good value", but if you wait a year, you'll lose much less in 5 years in terms of depreciation. Just look at the price difference between the 2012 E90 3 Series and the 2012 F30 3 Series.

If it was 158,000 km for three months it would need to be driven 24/7 for the entire time at around 70km/h. :)

    That would be some feat.

I've seen a truck with a little less mileage in three months. Just makes you realise how much they're used and how big mileage they actually do
Supposedly the truck was going 24/7 and it only changed drivers and stopped for fuel, pickups and offloads :pac:
