Has work started on completing the link road? I noticed some sort of work starting at the roundabout closest to the rear gate of the chemical factory.

Fairly sure its the building site entrance for the new Tesco. Road will probably be done when its nearly completed.

Completely wrong!! Nothing every came of Tesco besides planning permission being agreed.

Land for the road now belongs to the Council following a CPO. So why would you even think they would let a developer on it?

Anyways to answer the original question. Work began this week on the link road. Due for completion in August.

Oh thank the lord, this has been a long time coming. Driving through Holywell makes me want to crash the car just to prove the point that the roads are so poorly designed

David Daly. Doesn't work that way. There's two attenuation ponds in there.

The road has to built on something, the land which was cpo'ed, I was asking who or what company it was cpo'ed off, not a million miles of topic now.

I believe I was on topic, but I do apologize if I seem to have strayed. Wont happen again.

The land the road is built on is separate to the land between airside and holywell. Road land was from a farmer for the part Albany homes didn't own.
