Does any one have any experience with these tractors. What are they like do they have a connection for trailer brakes ?

Ours doesn't (362) but I'm sure they can be retro fitted. What you looking to pull? They are a handy tractor. We do an awful lot of drill work with it, drilling planting, claying up, as well as spreading and spraying. Do some trailer work at the corn and spuds, pulls like a train. Ten ton no bother. Does be on the potato hatvester a good bit too. 2wd has very good turning circle. Good tractor, over 10,000 hours, 21 years old in April.

They seem a nice compact tractor I would be looking to pull a 20ft flat trailer with about 210/240 square bales mind you the trailer isn't mighty heavy its built on 2 ford transit axles (doubles) and also turf from the bog, I don't need a big heavy tractor and she would suit me perfect !!

Yeah they do be a nice tidy little machine. Always fancied them as a little yard tractor

There is a 375 here since 2000,nice compact machine ,alternator and clutch changed since ,get a reduction gear starter and it starts first touch
It is used for all tasks here bar agitating slurry, looks tiny pulling 1300 tank but my ground is level.good on diesel, she will be staying here if I purchase another tractor.

375 is a derated 390. Much bigger and taller than a 362. Good tractor too, have one here as well.

    a 375 would be more similar to a 365 but with more power,bigger engine in a 390.

It's the same engine, just derated.

Very rare to hear stories of this. Only happened to me once or twice. I mustn't be hot enough.

    Anyone have a 375 in 40k model with 12 12 shuttle?

12x12 shuttle not bad if looked after. im not sure if the smaller 300s got the 18 splitter box like the 399 did near the end of the 1990s.
Brilliant tractor , 2 wd with turn on a penny, and very frugal also. i think the 362/5 are basically a dolled up 165? newer engine maybe?

I think u should go for the 390 they can be very little difference in price and you get alot more poke. It maybe only in tight situations you appreciate it but then ya be glad of the bigger machine.

    375 rated at 72 hp.
    390 rated 80 hp.
Exactly the same tractors, wheelbase, lift capacity, etc apart from the engine. Some 375 have smaller/narrower tyres but not all.
    375 has the perkins A4 236
390 has the A4 248, both non turbo.
IMO, the 375 has a better engine, more economical and has better starting characteristics than the 390. Neither are going to rob you on diesel consumption, esp in 2wd format.

You probably have a greater choice with the 390 as there are more of them around than the 375. After that it's down to your personal choice.
