the exhaust has been chugging strangely for a while, just the other day it started seriously make odd noises and the car was chugging and shuddering along
thought it might be a hole in the exhaust, got it checked - nothin
brought it to two mechanics, and they found water in the engine
2nd mechanic hooked it up to a computer and it was saying 3rd cylinder was having issues, and it had lots of water in it basically

any ideas what this would be?
someone said the head gasket could be going, but the cars only got 110,000 kms on it : /

?? Gasket can go after 10k, or 1k. Mainly as no-one bleeds the coolant system properly, usually. Hard to get all the air out..

    yikes : /
should I be looking at the coolant system?

something which makes me wonder about the whole thing is the exhaust is still chugging a bit, even with all the water out of the engine
the mechanic dude said theres a small crack in the end box (dont know what else to call it! the box part just before the opening) which I should get welded too.

Sounds like head gasket. How old is it?

If there is loads of water in the cylinder/engine it sounds series.Cracked cylinder head .Is the heat gauge rising into the red.

Most likely they mean there is water in the cylinder head where the spark plugs go its fairly common on fiestas from around 03 to 08. Water gets in around the spark plugs and causes a missfire.

There are two core plugs in the head that can leak depending on the year it could be one of two types.

    its a 2005
and nope, heat levels are normal, nothing unusual happening there

and yea, it was in the cylinder head where the sparks are, they took the sparks out and cleaned em
how would i fix that d'you think? replace the plugs or the adaptors?
and would that be causing the exhaust issues or just the misfiring issues?

The engine is missfiring so that is probobly what is causing your exauast to sound different.

you will need to get the core plugs replaced first of all to cure the leak make sure whoever does them knows what they are doing or you could end up having to replace the cylinder head.
