The Tesco Hudl is meant to be a great deal if your ever up North. Some of those cheap Android tablets are rubbish unfortunately, very slow and just poor in general. Android is quite a bloated OS under the hood, so many cheap devices struggle on it. Kit Kat is supposed to be better, but most of the cheap devices on the market at the minute are Jelly Bean and lower. The Cortex A9 is a decent chip, quad core afaik and 1GB RAM should make a reasonable tablet. Only 8GB of storage internally is a bit low though, and not everything can go onto the SD cards partition if you get one.
I have a Quad Core, 2GB RAM 10" Android tablet and tbh, it is slower than it should be given the spec.

    Nick

Stick it up on adverts. ie or eBay. This is not the place for selling items.
