Have to get my licence renewed and went up to the NDLC in Cork on Saturday, seems you have to have an appointment to be seen so have an appointment this Saturday at 10am, does anyone know how long I can expect to be waiting to be seen? Have to arrange an appointment for afterwards and have no idea how much time to allow. I have all my paperwork filled out and ready. Thanks in advance.

It seems crazy to me Truckermal that you need an app to basically drop your phone and get a photo taken. I presumed it would be like the passport office where you just went in and queued. Were you waiting long on the day? Am under a bit of time pressure on Saturday and wondering if i'm going to be hanging round for ages.

I was there almost 4 hours but that was in November I just went in and queued that day.

That is an absolute disgrace. Is this another of Phil Hogan's 'efficiencies'.... seems they have turned something quite simple into a complicated mess.

I got mine in about 3-4 weeks. Be sure the signature on the form and the signature taken electronically are identical as they may not issue the licence if they don't match closely.
