Can anyone recommend a few different types of fly to try this weekend around Kildare. Dry wet or nymphs. Any advice appreciated as I am a novice. Thanks

Personally i use nymphs until it warms up and you see plenty of fish rising. cant go far wrong with pheasant tail nymph, hares ear, czech nymphs and the like. if the river is flooded use heavy nymphs fished up stream to get down. if its lakes you're fishing for rainbows im sure people here can add something i dont do much of it. intermediate line with a lure cats whisker, dawsons olive work well.
