Hi, just looking for a bit of advice on the best places to take in while interrailing...

We only have 2 weeks (due to work commitments) mid/late July... The group consists of 3 girls (at the moment) aged 23/24...

There is nowhere in particular we want to see but we all love somewhere with a good nightlife but would also love to just relax on a beautiful beach somewhere... We wouldn't really be going down the historic cities route but would love to see a few of the more famous European sights for the memories all the same...

Any advice would be greatly appreciated :)

You are going to have so much fun, I did it for a month 2 years ago and would love to go again. We took in everywhere from Pairs-Barcelona-Florence-Rome-Athens-Sofia-Belgrade-Venice-Berlin-Vienna-Budapest-Prague-Berlin and finished up in Poland for Ireland vs Croatia match in the Euro 2012.. my favourite cities were Berlin and Budapest.... We didn't get to take in any beaches which was a real shame as we lost 3 days in Greece with all the troubles, strikes on the railway network, riots etc, (no regrets going there all the same) but we had plans to hit the Croatian coast, and from talking with other travellers and looking a pictures the coast of Croatia is amazing!! if you can get over there Id recommend it, take in lake bled in Slovenia on your way down too a must see
Best of luck with the trip.. :)

    Eastern Europe.

Start in Prague/Berlin and make your way to the Croatian beaches.

Hey, Im doing inter-railing this summer, have flights booked and all: beginning our trip in Paris and finishing in Vienna. The Route we had planned is Paris-Amsterdam-Berlin-Prague-Krakow-Bratislava-Budapest-Vienna. Anyway, we have flights booked so we need to start and finish in Paris and Vienna, anyone know if this route would work? Or could suggest a better route? Thanks a mil in advance,

    BonCourage
