Heh guys my sky On Demand has suddenly stopped working. Had sky over 12 months and no probs. I'm trying their email service with problems and they are the worst ive ever dealt with!

Has any one any ideas ? my router works fine.

There's a sticky thread at the top of the page specifically for "On Demand". You might get some better help there. I've just been using it myself for the last week when my HD box was replaced. Working fine for me just now. Check your network settings on the SKY box and see if you're connected to your router ok and to the "On Demand" service.

Let me just get this clear. On the Network page on your SKY box it says:

Connection to Broadband Router - OK

Connection to On Demand - NOT AVAILABLE

    Can you confirm this?

Your location says Dortmund - are you actually in Germany?

I presume your SKY channels and RTE's are working ok in the guide?
It may be an odd software issue which could be sorted by putting the box into standby first, then powering off at the mains for a short period, then booting it up again. It's possible that you have had a new firmware version downloaded recently and the "on demand" service needs to be activated again?? You would do this through your "my sky" account online. As I've said I have only been using the feature about a week now due to the replacement of my old Thompson HD box so you might get better help in the dedicated thread at the top of this page. So far, I have found it fine, although it is slow to download stuff, even on my eFibre connection.
