Trailer Tent Recommendation

my friend is hoping to get a trailer-tent (the big ones that fold out into a small house). He is looking for one that has a kitchen / cooking area, shower and toilet, and can be put up easily. His budget is 5k - 8k. Can someone recommend a good dealer or a make / model to watch out for?

At that money a caravan would be a good buy, as most of the canvas trailer tents don't come with shower or toilet. Some would have an inner tent which would take a porta-potti. Other alternative is a folding caravan, a cross between a caravan and trailer tent. Realistically though , depending on how many he needs to sleep, I'd say that he would be happier with the caravan. Having had both trailer tent and caravan now, it is by far the better comfort and on his budget he would pick up a fantastic 4 berth with an awning. I even put my 2 elder sons in a tent in the awning, while my younger girls sleep inside with us. All appliances are there and you can leave the heating on a low setting all night , nice and comfy :-)
