MacBook stuck on white screen in start up, help!

    This morning when I started up my MacBook Pro it got stuck on the white screen with the apple logo and the spinning wheel, any ideas how to fix this please

    Try booting in Safe Mode. Press the power button and immediately after you hear the start up chime hold down shift key and release when you see the Apple grey logo. If the Mac starts up correctly, restart again normally.

    If your computer still does not start up properly, shut it down and restart it while holding down the Apple+Option-P-R keys; keep holding all 4 keys down until you hear the startup sound twice then let go.
