Foot Problem

I am an average runner and recently i have been getting a pain on the under side of my arch(left foot only). This has only been happening in the last 3 runs 4.5/8.5/4.5 mile runs. I run in inov8 X-255 and have run a few 10km and a half marathon in these shoes with no previous problem. I am wondering if i should go back to some thing with a bit more support as i have low arch on my left foot which make me overpronate. Before the inov8's i used to run in Asics GT-2160.

Should i also look at getting Gait tested in the Edge in cork or go to Buckleys.
I need to get this sorted and i dont want to do any damage.

    Thanks

Don't train on an injury, and go get medical advice.

I started off my migration towards minimal shoes in the 255 & still use them for long runs, so am a big fan. I used to overpronate but don't any more as I no longer heel strike. I find it hard to heel-strike in them as the lack of cushioning in the heel encourages a mid/fore foot strike, so would be surprised to hear if you still have a heel strike in these shoes.

Without giving medical advice (against forum charter), can you think of anything other than running that may have caused it?
Could you have over stretched it (as I did recently coming back from another injury) ?
This would be good info to provide a medical professional in helping to diagnose the problem.

I would get to a physio to diagnose & treat the root cause of the problem before considering any change to footwear.
