Is there a list of places where it is secure and permitted to park a camper over night?
Or does anyone have any good south east coastal suggestions for paddys weekend?
Anyone ever overnighted in Killmore quay?

I started a thread a while ago to collect locations for wild camping (see here http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2057135481) but there are only a couple of entries there, and Killmore is not there .... sorry .

You could try putting a request up on the farming forum, in the "chit chat" thread. You never know unless you try!

http://www.reisverhaleneuropa.nl/camper/ierland/plaatsen.htm Plenty of spots around the country listed there including streetviews. It's in Dutch so you'll need to translate. Just be aware that the site is up a good while so some of the spots may have changed.

You could also try http://www.motorhomecraic.com/forum/ for wildcamping spots. If you pay a small subscription, around a tenner I think, you'll have access to a list with 100's of spots including up to date feedback.

You should find space past the quay and toilets in Killmore quay last year there was about 12 to 15 motorhomes on a bank-holiday weekend in June have stayed in Ardmore there were no overnight camping sines up but there were 6 motorhomes parked up overlooking the sea either side of the roundabout

I was in Kilmore Quay last weekend and the main area where the campers used to overnight is gone. They have installed paths and flower beds so there is no space for campers to park. The only area is the few spaces outside the factory whick would hold 4-5 campers.
