I have 7 2 year old blonde x heifers im going to get AI for next month thinking of a shorthorn SBU in progressive genetics...he seems to be suitable for maidens and for breeding replacements according to the info on him??...could I kill 2 birds with one stone..these are really nice heifers probably better quality than my cows tbh so I reckon they should have super heifer calves

Creaga dice is another possible shorthorn from dovea

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

Creega Dice was in short enough supply last year as well for some reason (according to my AI man)

Do you use Bova much and do they ever bother updating their website?

I've seen bulls advertised in in the IFJ from Bova but never seem to be on the website.

They have a new website.....Bova genetic giants.........this will be my first year with them as my ai man retired but all my neighbours with them for years and very happy they seem to have a lot of different priced straws so be sure and ask the price of a bull before using him as u might get a bit of a fright

Bova's 2014 beef catalogue just came in the post last week so give the office a call and also ask for the price list. Some excellent value bulls imo.....

Link above for Bova 2014. Don Juan, Dahlia and Ecrin are very popular:confused:

2nd link probably a better bet!
